We are pleased to announce yet another workshop series at Healing Harmony. Metamorphosis (theatre & story telling workshop) conducted few months ago was our successful endeavor to re-discover the wings of your caterpillars and was appreciated by children and parent alike.

But a need was felt to have something more consistent, so as to reap the maximum benefits and see a holistic transformation in children.

At a time when the pressures on young people are perhaps greater than they have been at any time, what we need is a rising generation who can use their heads to solve those problems but also their imaginations. “Therapeutic Theatre”- is a 4 part series of workshops designed to play theatre games, work on improvisational skills, study characterization, and explore one’s own “self.” In the process children will build esteem, self-confidence, public-speaking skills, and an awareness of a true teamwork effort—all “life skills,” useful in and outside of a theatrical context.

And the result? Expect them to learn empathy, laugh uproariously, or come home singing about science, or want to know more about history, or tell you what happened at school today, or spend all dinner discussing music, or learn how to handle conflict, or write their other song or start becoming future patrons of the arts.

Please find enclosed the details of the workshop. It is conveniently arranged on Four Sundays that are spaced out and in two batches 1) Tiny tales (Age 5 to 9) and 2) Tall Tales (Age 10-14)
